Local communities could adopt strategies such as:
the citizens’ sensitization and empowerment on the environmental issues,
the awareness, though the promotion of relative knowledge and the active participation in caring for the green-roof,
wide solutions for sustainable development control through the application of green roofs in residential areas,
the management of architectural green-space substitution,
the creation of a community network, which contributes to each other according to the economic capacity of the community.
Due to the environmental issue, the necessity of the green roof technology adoption is now emerged.
The overpopulated urban environment prioritizes the design of sustainable urban spaces improving energy independence and urban resilience.
